A drizzly, gray start to Saturday couldn’t put a damper on the green-tinged celebrations of St. Patrick’s Day in Midtown.

The city’s annual parade, including everything from marching bands to alpacas and Star Wars costumed revelers, rolled down Peachtree Street from Arts Center to the southern reaches of Midtown.

Thousands of spectators lined the street over the course of the parade, and as weather improved into the afternoon, more Atlantans joined in on the action.
