In the latest example of investment activity on downtown’s western flank, Atlanta’s Westside on Thursday welcomed the first hotel to be built there in years.
Enter the new Clarion Inn and Suites, a 104-key lodge that offers 1,000 square feet of event space, with amenities to woo patrons from downtown’s nearby Mercedes-Benz Stadium and beyond.
The Clarion, stationed at 186 Northside Drive, is an addition to Castleberry Hill’s new Russell Hospitality Campus, which houses the iconic Paschal’s Restaurant and The Loft at Castleberry Hill, a private event space.
Paschal’s, a historic eatery known for its soul food, will also offer its eats via room service for hotel visitors.
The Russell campus will ultimately host some 10,000 square feet of event space. It all marks a departure from the area’s longtime dearth of development.
“Whether it’s visitors attending a Falcon’s game at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a concert at Philips Arena, a trade show at the World Congress Center, or events at the Atlanta University Center, we can host everyone within walking distance,” said Zane Major, director of operations for the Russell Hospitality Campus.
The Clarion is now open for reservations. Take a peek at the no-frills space below:
