A growing Atlanta gourmet market concept with roots in Inman Park will be joining the likes of former intown-only foodie emporiums Antico pizza and El Super Pan at The Battery Atlanta, officials announced today.
Now in its second season at the plate, The Battery has snagged the seventh location of Savi Provisions, slated for a 4,500-square-foot space that will deliver grab-n-go meals, sous vide items, and other prepared grub to any location within the Braves’s mixed-use property. Also expect beer, wine, and spirits.
Savi grew from a single, standalone store in Inman Park to locations in Midtown, Buckhead, Brookhaven, and now downtown Decatur. The Battery location is projected to debut in late 2019.
Athens-based Jittery Joe’s Coffee will share space within the Savi market as part of a continued expansion of partnerships between the companies, Braves Development Company officials announced.
It’s the first market component for a complex that counts some 530 apartments, boutique shopping, an Omni Hotel, the Coca-Cola Roxy, and Comcast’s regional office headquarters.
JLL, the company directing The Battery’s retail leasing, recently announced that just 30,000 square feet remain unclaimed in the $600 million Cobb County project, which will eventually include 1.5 million square feet-plus of offices, restaurants, and retail.
Braves officials have said additional phases could sprout from open land adjacent to The Battery.
