The renovation of this 1950s property looks strong, but don’t expect the pages of Atomic Ranch inside

With its angled awning, Japan-harkening landscaping, and fresh color scheme, the facade makes a cool statement, though some might grumble about painted brick. Inside, the “classic formal entry hall” leads back to what could be the most midcentury-modern aspect of all: the family room’s beamed cathedral ceilings.

With its farmhouse-style sink, cabinetry for miles, and chef-ready appliances, the kitchen is an all-around perk, albeit very much 2018 in style.

From the back, the house also has panache, where it meets a professionally landscaped, terraced backyard and begs for a deck to complement the patio.

Pertinent numbers: three full bathrooms, 2,676 square feet, and a two-car garage. Oh, and the asking price: $689,000.
