Homebuyers looking to live it up in LaVista Park have a sleek new option that just hit the market. “If you want it all, this home is for you,” the listing reads.

Designed by architect Jeffrey Bruce Baker, this newly constructed luxury modern is one of four structures that Wise Builders LLC erected on Hopkins Terrace, which juts west from Briarcliff Road in unincorporated DeKalb County.

Flaunting 4,418 square feet, the single-family comes with four bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths, a four-car garage, and a “resort-style backyard” with a heated pool and a hot tub. (One of those full baths is actually poolside in the backyard.)

The front facade boasts massive, nearly full-wall windows, many of which peer out at the lush greenery surviving strong in Atlanta’s outskirts. Around those windows are bulky—almost Brutalist-looking—stucco encasements protruding from a stacked stone base.

Inside, a litany of luxury amenities bring home the posh-living appeal.

The cabinets in the kitchen—kitchen No. 1, that is—are custom-made, and the counters are outfitted with stone tops. There’s also a “back kitchen,” for those times one might need to entertain a houseful of guests.

The master bedroom suite—holding the title, despite the fact that all the bedrooms are “oversized”—comes complete with a spa bath and heated floors.

This new pad also stands less than a mile from LaVista Park (the actual park, not the neighborhood), Kittredge Park, a Publix, and a Whole Foods.

Perhaps the only hold-up for scoring a quick offer will be the asking price of $1,995,000, which is far north of similar homes in the area. Although given the emergence of rebuilds in this area, it might not be too far off the mark after all.
