For $875K, sophisticated Ridgedale Park condo offers “stunning” Buckhead views

This “must see” unit at The Winston has a lot going for it, including quality finishes, superior crown molding, and a wealth of building amenities

Constructed in 1999, this 2,396-square-foot corner unit at The Winston in Ridgedale Park has “too much to mention,” although the listing does reveal some of its offerings.

Real hardwood floors and superior crown molding run throughout the two-bedroom, three-bath condo, and the white marbled office definitely isn’t something seen often.

Two terraces provide not only “stunning” views of Buckhead and, in the distance, the downtown Atlanta skyline, but also a cozy space to enjoy some fresh air.

On the other hand, given the rich, sophisticated color palette and complementing dark hardwoods, the light wood tones of the kitchen cabinets and red countertops were a complete surprise.

The faux fireplace by the window in the master bedroom also is a bit odd.

Building amenities at The Winston include an indoor heated swimming pool, a full gym, two assigned parking spaces, and a large, indoor storage room. However, since no HOA info is provided, it’s not clear how much these extras add to the asking price.

Speaking of the asking price, this condo originally appeared on the market in March for $850,000 and received a pending offer in April. But, after that offer fell through, it returned to the market at the same asking price, which just three days later was bumped up to the current ask of $875,000.

It’s questionable whether that was the right move given the unit has now been on the market for nearly 100 days without another offer. Will a price reduction be forthcoming? Only time will tell.
