Add another notch to metro Atlanta’s transit-oriented development belt, as a rare new condo project is on the rise in Sandy Springs.

Now under construction, The Dunhill promises 19 units on Peachtree Dunwoody Road within walking distance of the North Springs MARTA Station.

Offering two bedrooms and two bathrooms each, the condos are priced in the low $400,000s and are expected to be move-in ready by the end of 2019. Officials with developer Norso tell Curbed Atlanta that three units have already sold.

Exactly which amenities will serve The Dunhill residents is still being determined by Norso, but it’s safe to expect screened-in porches and large patios inside the gated community.

The project is the latest example of transit-oriented development in metro Atlanta, and it’s but a blip on the radar of urbanizing Perimeter areas.

Just south of The Dunhill construction site, near Perimeter Mall and Northside Hospital, a 500,000-square-foot mixed-use development called Glenpoint is projected to bring office space, a hotel, and medical facilities to the area.

Also nearby, City Springs, a $229 million arts and government district project led by developers Selig Enterprises and Carter, has been coming together for the past few years. Intended as the civic and cultural heart of Sandy Springs, that project debut last May.
