New, 7 comments

At this price point, there’s ample supply to choose from, in terms of both location and style

In this installment of Curbed Comparisons, we look at what $2,000—give or take $100—rents around Atlanta right now.

Although these rental properties aren’t exceptionally spacious for Atlanta—the largest tops out at 2,125 square feet—they’ll qualify as sufficient for most. Plus, there’s plenty of variety in location and home type. So key factors for choosing properties at this price point could be amenities and nearby shopping, dining, and entertainment.

With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this Grant Park home includes an open floorplan with kitchen, living room, and dining room in 1,400 square feet. Renters also will like the fenced backyard, extra storage in the building out back, and, of course, off-street parking. Plus, the house is just three blocks from the park. Current monthly rent is $1,995.

As the smallest property of the bunch (but most centrally located), this condo at lilli Midtown has one bedroom and one bathroom in 733 square feet. The pet-friendly unit features sleek, contemporary decor and a private terrace. Additional amenities include a rooftop swimming pool and fitness center; another perk is walkability to myriad culinary, entertainment, and green space attractions. The monthly rent is $2,025.

In contrast to the above listing, this Capitol View home is the largest property in the group, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,125 square feet. Minutes from the Beltline’s Westside Trail, this fully renovated and expanded house offers hardwood floors, recessed lighting, and a large deck overlooking the backyard. Current rent is $2,000 per month.

At Mezzo in Buckhead, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is outfitted with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an open floorplan that covers much of the unit’s 1,306 square feet. In addition, the private balcony provides views of the ever-changing Buckhead landscape. Building amenities range from an outdoor swimming pool and fitness center to a resident clubhouse and dedicated pet area. The monthly rent clocks in at an even $2,000.

Just off Interstate 85 in Lindridge-Martin Manor, this 1,509-square-foot townhome comes with two bedrooms and three bathrooms. From the spacious living room with vaulted ceilings to the separate dining room with built-ins to the large master bedroom, there’s more than enough room in this home. The unit also includes a rear patio and two parking spaces. Current monthly rent is $2,100.
