There’s nary a dull moment at this customized two-story traditional in Poncey-Highland, which wouldn’t seem out of place as Andy Warhol’s Destin beach escape.

Built in 2004, it’s tucked on Julia Street but overlooks John Lewis Freedom Parkway, between Manuel’s Tavern and Little Five Points, a locale that makes the 86 “Very Walkable” WalkScore no surprise.

The property last blipped the listings radar as a Zillow “Make Me Move” toe-dip in the market waters three years ago, when it was asking $1.2 million. It’s back this week, via Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, for $1,375,000.

From a steel-encircled fireplace to the heavy-duty range hood and the pool area’s fire strip, humdrum this place is not.

The two-porch facade, with no shortage of landscape, off the pool area.

Pertinent numbers: five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and just shy of 4,000 square feet, with a two-car attached garage and two kitchens.

Like the indoor-outdoor sound system, the grilling station and heated saltwater pool by Pebble Tec (with waterfall spa beside it) are ready to get summer parties started. Also handy is a private motor court—an intown rarity—for guest parking. The pool house counts a Thermador kitchen and full bath with Carrara marble, while the inside kitchen brings names like Sub-Zero and Wolf.

For homebuyers who are frequently out of town, upkeep could be a concern, as nothing about the lush landscaping and pool grounds hollers “low-maintenance.”

But such is the price for what’s described as a “stunning urban oasis” on the eastside.
