At 15K square feet, newly built North Atlanta compound embraces excess for $7.8M

Claustrophobes needn’t worry in this Mediterranean-style palace described as “perfection”

Looking for a master closet large enough to house the better part of an H&M? How about a kitchen that could host a banquet on its own?

Both are facets (more or less) of this ginormous North Atlanta residential project finished earlier this summer, just east of Ga. Highway 400 where Buckhead meets Sandy Springs.

Whether the Mediterranean-style palace is a “landmark” or “perfection” as marketers claim is debatable, but without a doubt it’s excessive around virtually every corner. And that’s the point.

With more than 15,000 square feet set on two acres, it’s the fourth largest house for sale across Atlanta proper right now, behind Tyler Perry’s former chateau, the everlasting listing formerly known as Big Poppa’s house, and one other.

The “airy” description hardly does justice to double-height rooms that probably carry echoes—or to a master suite that could be its own single-family house.

“Honey, I’m home... home... home...”

The five-bedroom, six and a half bathroom property listed at $7,850,000 in June via GG Sells Atlanta. It remains planted there.

Appropriately, the big pool cabana includes a 200-inch screen. Elsewhere is a putting green, porte-cochère, in-home gym, sprawling second-story sunroom, and seemingly endless options for Netflix binging with 25 of your closest friends.

Logan Design Group drew up the property and Paradise Builders put it together.

That’s the same team behind the bonkers Northside Drive estate local NBA player Dwight Howard almost bought in 2016, which finally sold to a legendary sports agent in June for $8 million.

Have a look around, below. Try not to get lost.
