Space is limited at this price, but location is more varied, depending on property type

For this installment of Curbed Comparisons, we examine what $350,000—give or take $3,000—buys around Atlanta at the moment.

At this price point, condos reign supreme from downtown to Buckhead, while single-family homes can be found in a horseshoe of communities surrounding downtown. What all of these options share is a limit on space, by Atlanta standards; the largest property in this group tops out at 1,649 square feet. Even so, each one could be a good foray into ITP living.

Located on Mayson Avenue in Edgewood, this 1910 bungalow recently underwent a remodel, providing the 1,240-square-foot home with a new kitchen, two new bathrooms, a new roof, new siding, and a new HVAC system. The two-bedroom house also contains plenty of subway tile, shiplap, and heart-pine hardwood floors. Originally listed in August for $375,000, the asking price has undergone two cuts and now stands at $350,000.

Found in Luxe Condominiums, next door to Piedmont Park in Midtown, this 989-square-foot unit features one bedroom and one bathroom. The open floorplan has a living room and kitchen, both of which have views out the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that lead to a balcony. For monthly HOA fees of $338, building amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, and clubhouse. The asking price is $350,000.

Situated on Wellington Street in Mozley Park, this 1940s abode comes with three bedrooms and three bathrooms in 1,649 square feet. Following a “stunning renovation,” the property brings a mix of charm and “the modern finishes of today.” Think subway tile, quartz countertops, stainless appliances, and pendant lights. A new deck, which could have been larger, overlooks a spacious backyard ideal for outdoor entertainment. Current ask is $350,000.

Inside Park Regency in North Buckhead, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom corner unit encompasses 1,143 square feet. Natural light floods the living room from floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that open onto the large balcony. A second balcony can be found off the master suite. Hefty monthly HOA fees of $789 cover such amenities as a swimming pool, wine cellar, private dog park, and two deeded parking spaces. The current asking price is $353,000.

Following a recent renovation, this 1922 bungalow on Second Avenue in East Lake boasts two bedrooms and one bathroom in 1,351 square feet. The home retains its 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and custom built-ins, while showcasing today’s modern trends with shiplap and a barn door. The listing touts a “separate office space” that could double as a guest room or artist space, but appears to be nothing more than an enclosed porch. Asking price is $349,900.
