Asking $450K, four-bedroom new construction is Mozley Park’s priciest option

Due west of downtown Atlanta, the corner-lot property isn’t short on space—or porches

Over the past several years, the swell of home prices in Westside and Southwest Atlanta hasn’t been exclusive to places like West End and Adair Park.

Exhibit A is this newly constructed four-bedroom, three-bathroom dwelling in Mozley Park, located just north of Westview and Interstate 20, due west of downtown and Atlanta University Center.

Recently finished in a style inspired by Craftsman residential architecture, the 2,500-square-footer listed last week with PalmerHouse Properties for $449,000.

The corner lot allows for a large, versatile, fenced backyard that’s hardly typical for hilly, tree-filled Atlanta.

Off the big front porch is a decidedly open living space with a digital fireplace, where rooms conjoin.

Porch space will be no issue, while inside it’s open-concept to the extreme, with large bedrooms and more than a couple stylistic surprises in upstairs bathrooms.

The listing points to easy access to everything from the Beltline’s Westside Trail and The Benz to the future West End Mall redevelopment.

West Lake MARTA Station is mere blocks away, but the WalkScore still clunks at a “car-dependent” 24.

Of three Mozley Park properties listed at north of $400,000 right now, this is the priciest by $25,000, but it’s also significantly larger than a competing new-build.

The neighborhood’s highest sale in recent years stands at $395,000 now. It, too, was a newly constructed house.
