It’s part of a huge 1960s community with multiple swimming pools, a restaurant, and a golf course

Frustrated condo hunters of Atlanta might not want to sleep on Cross Creek.

A haven of relative affordability, the gated community of more than 900 units is located on 122 acres of intown forest, northwest of Midtown along Interstate 75, next to Underwood Hills in a Buckhead school district.

It includes tennis courts, a pond, a par-three, 18-hole golf course (Cross Creek Golf Club), and three different swimming pools. (Thus, the monthly $418 HOA commitment, for the condo in question here).

In the very retro main clubhouse is a restaurant, lounge, and health club.

Listed this week with Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners for $215,000, this particular circa-1970 unit was renovated in the past two years from the lighting to the countertops and bathroom vanities to sunroom windows.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom property is on the top floor with blonde hardwoods (almost) throughout. For the price, the square footage isn’t skimpy at 1,272.

The listing notes the sellers are brokenhearted to leave but are relocating out of state.

A dozen other Cross Creek options are for sale at the moment, for as low as $150,000 for a more dated one-bedroom.
