Olympic cauldron move was proposed, resisted in 2011
Atlanta's Olympic cauldron, meant to be an iconic, lasting symbol of the Centennial Olympic Games, currently sits atop a metal tower in the middle of parking lots. Some say it should be moved to Centennial Olympic Park; turns out it's not a new idea.
