Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is trying to drum up interest in her Buckhead mansion before the new year, slashing the price by more than $300,000.
TMZ reports that Parks has lowered the asking price for the four-bedroom Buckhead crib to under $1.2 million; she initially listed the house this past summer for $1.5 million.
It sprawls for nearly 4,500 square feet and boasts a formal dining room that seats more than 10.
The home’s semi-French Provincial styled exterior gives way to a rather eclectic interior. While one of the six bathrooms features some flashy wallpaper, the rest of the private spaces are surprisingly understated.
Overall, the house has been tamed, with the addition of new furniture since it first listed. Only a few splashy wall coverings are likely to push the house a bit over the top for some buyers.
Out back, find a small pool and generously sized stone cabana. And for those who like being outside, the home is located just west of Chastain Park.
Despite the price drop, Parks likely stands to make a hefty profit. Records show she purchased the house for just $845,000 four years ago.
