Ah, Christmas. A season for abusing eggnog to survive time with the in-laws, getting presents from the world's most prolific burglar and using an obscene amount of electricity to illuminate stuff. The city's tourism board has made it easy to partake in some of the most outrageous lighting displays in the region, publishing a list of the seven places to see holiday lights in Atlanta. While the list uses the name "Atlanta" liberally, for those wishing to escape the holiday traffic and get into a festive mood, there are plenty of options to choose from across the greater metro area.
