Hey Atlanta: It's December! And with Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/Festivus holidays looming, it's time to get out and enjoy one of winter's grandest outdoor activities. Sure, the only winter pastime we do really well is cause day-long traffic freakouts, but there are a few ice skating rinks scattered around that allow us Southerners to feel like Northerners for a few hours. And if you're worried about looking like a fool, think of it this way... ice is pretty much the great equalizer. Unless you're Michelle Kwan, you're probably going to bust your derrière a few times, no matter how sober you are. So check out the map, get out there and have some fun.
