Atlanta's social scene is exploding, and the growing lineup of festivals is getting crowded. To help set the record straight, and determine which events are never to be missed, The Great Atlanta Festival Face-Off is marching on!
According to the listing agent, the original owner relocated from Atlanta and left these wide-plank floors, upgraded appliances, and even the included washer and dryer "barely used." If the listing photos are any indication, that description seems appropriate.
To determine which ATL festivals are never to be missed, we thought a little mid-year tournament was in order. It’s May Madness, if you will. Your votes this week will declare which local festival is crowned the best of 2016.
For this look down memory lane, we revisited property spotlights of Curbed Atlanta past to get an idea, at least anecdotally, of how things have changed in the last two or three years. Spoiler alert: This market is radically different now.
It's got a brand-new Thermador appliance package, four historic fireplaces, glossy hardwood floors, and a bunch of other perks. Like close proximity to the usual Candler Park conveniences. Which of course does not come cheap these days.
There's a brand-new taco festival, an event paying homage to the Great Atlanta Fire of 1917, a battle of local chefs from great restaurants, an opportunity to walk (rather than drive) through your neighborhood, and we're just scratching the surface.
