Two and 1⁄2 years after the Atlanta Falcons’ new stadium broke ground, its already famous rooftop "petals" are being installed, with plans to start actually moving them in a few months.
This flat offers 270-degree views of the stadium and downtown, elegant bathrooms, plenty of bone-chilling minimalism, and huge sliding windows (or are they patio doors?) guarded by cable wiring.
In an effort to peel Atlantans away from their couches and in-home mega-screens, the new Falcons coliseum will boast massive LED video boards, multiple social areas around the facility, and what leaders in a press release called "the best of Atlanta’s culinary scene."
Trusses are being installed to support the sliding roof and pedestrian plazas that will link the facility to Andrew Young International Boulevard. Plus, there's some glass and futuristic exterior panels. Check out the progress in this new photo tour.
